No caption needed?!

Just a unique barn sits by the lakeside.

Imagine living on the top of the hill, and watch the sunrise or sunset everyday! Or a panorama view of the region!

Describe a priceless moment... Here's one example! Things won't last forever, so does the beautiful sky.

Algerian iris appear to be quite common around Eugene, OR, but their shapes are quite unique and interesting.

Gateway to the peak.

Sometimes I hope a photo can make it looks as cool as in person, and I was impressed by the amount of blossoms.

This climb was my longest climb for the day. Worth it? Totally.

It was quite chaos there when I got the shot, there were 10+ crows defending their territory by chasing and harassing a red-tailed hawk. Yes, all of that just for a single red-tailed hawk.

First thing first, I’m 30 ish yards away from them, and I showed my respects to all these wildlife and didn’t scare them away! Some cars drove by, and they took off. Back to the story.

I was using my 200-600 G for this photo, glad that dragonfly was quite cooperate! Gotta stand pretty far away for this photo, worth it though!

⬇️Imagine if raptors can speak⬇️

American kestrels: "Why does that osprey look mad?"

Osprey:"???"

Joke aside. To me, this photo is relatively rare, glad I captured that moment. I haven't really seen that many kestrels lately, I guess they are busy searching for food sources and mating. Another reason is because these kestrels were under that osprey's nest; to me, 3 raptors in a photo are barely happening. BUT! It happened! I will say it is one of my favorite shots of the year!

Just another day, red-tailed hawk vs. crows

What is cool about this piece of Oregon sunstone?
You can see different colors from various perspectives. Its unique cut makes it quite shiny under sunlight.
Bike about 45mi round trip from Mckenzie Bridge to the midway of OR 242. Great ride with beautiful mountains! Since the OR 242 won't open all year, it makes that more valuable to ride while it's opening! Great climbs and fun ride overall!
Fall

Rainbow delivery! It was literally right in front of my window.

Took these two following photos when I biked to Corvallis and back. I finished the longest ride of the year so far, it is around 107mi. The morning was super foggy, and I didn't take too many photos due to safety concerns.

I found the same bald eagle! Good to know its beak healed kinda nice compared to the rough shape from last year. I spotted it around the end of Nov. 2020.

A taste of fall in Eugene!

First time ever shot photos of a great blue heron capturing its food.
Always a great time shooting northern harrier photos. I found that is somewhat challenging to photograph them especially their body sizes and mobility. Here I am, got the shots done, better than ever.
